hi ladies. i wanted to crochet a sleevless shrug for dd this weekend and i wanted your opinion on what yarn i should use. people are telling me a stiffer yarn like red heart super saver but i dont know how that would look for clothing. ive used it for blankets but i havent used it for anything else yet. any advice? thanks ladies

I would never use red heart for clothing. I would use hobby lobby yarn if I was making something like that for a child.

id do caron simply soft

Caron simply soft or soft secret from Hobby Lobby. Red heart is too stiff, but the red heart soft might be soft enough though it's pricier.

Looks like you got some good advice from ladies I know use a ton of yarn! Post some pictures when you finish your project it sounds fun.

I'm making a dress for my nieces 2nd birthday I'm using sugar and cream cotton yarn.
