Who all does them? Any advice for doing them on a budget? We're adding to the family soon, and I think it would be helpful for acclimating my son.

They're those dolls that people paint in a specific manner to add texture and lifelike features to. If done well the really appear like actual babies. If done poorly-they just look tremendously creepy.

I made one of my oldest son years ago. Cost me about 200 to make on my own. Won ribbons at the state fair for the work.

I like those dolls some are cute n some look crepy thou lol ive seen on youtube some ppl treat them like real ppl.. Thats crazy lol

Yes, some of them are adorable.  But some are downright creepy!  They really aren't that difficult to do.  It depends on how realistic you want to make them.  It is a time consuming project, though.  There's tutorials online.  You can get some of the paints at Hobby Lobby.  Just go on Ebay and buy a pre-owned Bitty Baby.  They are excellent for reborns.
