What language(s), besides English, do you know? When did you learn it? How did you learn it? :)

German- not totally perfect but pretty good.

My parents are German, and I took German in school (easy A :)

Now I'm relearning it as we are taking our kids there in the summer... I better get to work on that.

I know a little french (you kind of have to living up here).
I took Spanish in school and taught it to elementary school kids as part of a class.
And I know ASL.

I know a little bit of German, even less Chinese, and some Spanish.
My sister speaks fluent German and is teaching my kids. She also took 2 or 3 classes to learn Chinese and has been teaching my kids that.

I know asl. I learned that back in highschool. My ds is learning asl in school now. He's in kindergarten

Did you learn German ASL (Is there a difference?) or to speak it out loud?

I hope it's not a rude question to ask, I'm not trying to be mean :)

Lots of languages! I think it's cool your sister is teaching your kids different languages :)
