I want to learn how to crochet and am wondering how hard it is to learn from videos?

I use it a lot when knitting pattersn throw out abbreviations like ssk and psso.  

There are usually lots of videos to choose from. I've found some by Bernhart I like a lot. They go slow and repeat what they are doing several times.

I learned to loom knit using YouTube videos.  It was easy for me.

I learned by YouTube. A lot of my crafting has been done by videos - thank goodness for people who share their talents with us!!!!

I'm trying to learn how to make silk ribbon roses from YouTube, but I haven't had any luck so far :(

YouTube has great tutorials on just about anything! I have learned a lot of glass tequniques by watching . The best part, you can watch it as many times as you need!

You have to find the best teacher with the best angle and all but yea, I've learned quite a bit from youtube.

When you find a good video it's great, especially if you're a visual learner like me. It makes it easier to tell how to move your hook and what exactly it is your supposed to do. The books always confused me and videos helped a lot.
