Remember my post about the rewards I want to give my players?

So, i have 3 goals: 1 defense, 1 offense, and 1 pitching goal per game.  For each goal they reach, they get 1 point.  After 10 points, they earn a party.  At yesterday's practice I only had 7 of 11 players there so we just talked about ideas of what they wanted.

Well, it was coming down between ice cream or jamba juice when one of the girls jumped up and volunteered her house to go on the water slide.  hahahaha

Her dad (who is one of my coach's) couldn't be there and her mom was at the playground with her younger sister so they didn't hear this.

I emailed them and asked them if their daughter told them about her recommendation. hahahahaha.

So, they don't have a water slide anymore but they do have a trampoline so we may go for a trampoline party if that is what everyone agrees on for Wednesday.

BTW...they were really excited about it.

I love how it worked out! A tampoline party sounds like a blast.

Be careful of trampoline parties.  Trampolines can be very dangerous for kids who don't know how to jump or that are not really coordinated.  Plus there is a huge liability risk.  We had one the whole time my kids were young and never had any problems but several of our friends who had them had major accidents where kids were rushed to the hospital (one was critical) or where parents were sued because of injuries.  Not trying to be a downer just telling you to be cautious.

Interesting. I don't let my girls use them, but hopefully it works out.

So is the party going forward on Wednesday? It sounds like so much fun. My son's BFF has a trampoline, and so he jumps on it all the time. They have a blast on it.
