It was $60. to sign up our 5 year old dd. plus we have to buy a shirt, socks cleats, and shin guards
I miss the good old days when it was cheap. lol

Here is my break down.
Daughter #1 13 y/o - competitive soccer - she's a goalkeeper
Indoor soccer (October - March) is $840 + $720 for keeper training
Outdoor soccer (May - Aug) is $640 + 610 for keeper training
= $2810 not including cleats, gloves, shin guards and indoor shoes or any out of town tournaments
Daughter #2 6 y/o - competitive soccer
Indoor soccer (October - March) - $325
Outdoor (May- July) - $150
= $475 not including equipment or additional academy lessons
I get the impression that competitive soccer is about the same in our area.
It's comparable to what I pay for my son's competitive hockey, maybe a less. I think we will have spent between 3 and 4 thousand this year on all of my son's hockey stuff, if I include both season, lessons, and equipment. Definitely over $4,000 if I tried to figure out gas and transportation costs.

Hockey is extremely costly around here too- Well of course, its ever Canadians birthright lol. Being involved in comp soccer is 5-7 day a week commitment- How about Hockey? Does your son's team participate in alot of out of town tourneys?
