Quoting Roo1234:

We've taken day hikes (no camping)  in the mountains a few times.  Even rode horseback once. If we could find the right opportunity, we would probably move to Colorado in a heartbeat.

I havent been horseback riding in years!

My friends and I go hiking regularly. In December we did a hike called Devil's Chair - 7.4 miles, we saw a herd of Big horn sheep (6 that we could count) and rabbit tracks in the snow along with deer and coyote droppings. It was beautiful. There had been a light dusting of snow (almost 1 inch in places) - just a glorious day.

We are going to the same area on Sunday except taking the western trail instead of the eastern trail. I will try and remember to report back on what we see!

Does hiking to the top on a trail count? LOL. I've done that and would do it again.

Did you see any wildlife?I love to see animals and watch birds
