My son is hideous--team traditions?

OK,he's  not hideous, he's a good looking 16 year old.  It's time for varsity baseball to start at our high school and the tradition is that all the varsity guys get together Thursday night to make each other horrible hair cuts that they wear to school on Friday, shave off Friday night and start the season on Saturday.

I love this tradition!  What are some of your teams' traditions?

Here's the kid.

LOL, that's great. I love it!!

My son isn't in HS yet. He's in 7th grade, and he hasn't played for a school team yet. No traditions at his current hockey association either. :(

hahaha!! oh lordy!  That is some ugly hair cut.

My kids do not have one just yet because they are young.  I'd like to create something for my 9 year old team as a team-building experience but not sure what just yet.

That would be considered hazing here and wouldn't be allowed...the whole team would be suspended.

Even if its the whole team?

That is too bad, I HATE true hazing but the guys love this.  Baseball is kind of a big deal at our high school and it is a way to say "I play varsity baseball" to the whole school on Friday without having to brag!
