We are Heather, Kevin and Austin from Georgia! We were blessed to become Austin's parents through open adoption several years ago and his adoption was a wonderful experience! Now, we are very excited to share our lives and love with another child and finally complete our family by adopting again!
We have an infinite amount of love to share and we will welcome you and your baby into our hearts unconditionally. We are lucky to have a terrific and close relationship with our son's birth family. However, we want you to know that we are open to any amount of contact that you are comfortable with and that meets your needs. We hope to be the family you choose for your baby!
We invite you to get to know us a little through our website. We are excited to get to know you and for you to get to know us. Hope to see you there!
Warmly,
Heather, Kevin, and Austin Too!

I'm Heather and I have been considering adoption for a few months now. Being a single woman, I know that many will disqualify me right away . In some ways I can understand this but I have so much love to give to a child and I am everyone's favorite "aunt" around here. I even have a room just for all the kids that come to visit and stay at my house. I have been picky about who I will date and/or marry so that I have a good husband who will be a good father. No luck yet.
I'm 36..wow that was a tough birthday.. and I work in higher education. I was a Spanish and English teacher for 7 years prior to working at colleges. I also teach English as a Second Language and CPR/First Aid classes as ways to give back to my community.
I live in South Central PA and I have a small but very supportive and close-knit family who would love to add another child to it. I am very supportive of open adoption since I can't imagine giving up my child and now knowing how he or she grew up. I am also very honest when talking to people about my life. I am not perfect and will not just give you the answers you want, but the truth, whether it be good, bad or ugly.
I recently went through a failed adoption. It was the most difficult thing I have ever been through but I'm hoping to get lucky and find someone else who will give me the chance to be a mommy. I am home study ready and my family is waiting to add one more miracle to it.

Hello, my name is Michelle, my husband is James and we have an 18 month old son named Ethan. We were blessed with 1 son but due to complications during his birth I am no longer able to carry another child. My husband and I both have college degrees, I am also a black belt and have trained and even taught mixed martial arts.We are hoping, praying and waiting to find the right birth mother. I was adopted when I was only 2 days old, my birth mother and adoptive mother were very close,I always knew my birth mother and was very close to her. My adoptive mother passed away of cancer almost 5 years ago, my birth mother and I are now are best friends. There is a lot more to this story and it is written in my journal for anyone to read.My husband and I would love to be able to adopt a baby girl to complete our family, but we are willing to wait until the right birth mother comes to us. I want our adoption process to go as smoothly and as wonderful as my birth mothers.

Praying to adopt.
Hi all. It's been a while since I visited Cafemom!!
My husband and I started our adoption journey in Sept 2008 and after a bad run of 14 months with an adoption agency, we are moving to private adoption. Our home study will be signed before the end of the month and we've spoke to an adoption attorney we are more than likely going to be using.
We're browsing the internet for possible situations and just found Cafemom had an adoption forum. Wanted to say hello to all and post our website just incase!!
GL to everyone!!
