What style education do you use in your homeschool?

We are currently Christian unschoolers. We love it!

My kids are so curious and love learning so child led is totally working for us.

We do use some curriculum, have taken classes, use lots of living books, nature walks, field trips, experiments, netflix and tons of free websites.

What style appraoch do you use?

We are kind of eclectic a bit of this and a bit of that.  I mainly went/go with what my kids seems to be learning best with at the time.

We use a charter school and I supplement with christian ed (that they don't cover). DH is more comfortable knowing the kids are meeting at least the minimum state standards (which IMO are a total joke). I find it funny.

We are blessed that the school we use has very minimal involvement and allows my choice of all curriculums as well as paying for our family YMCA membership.

We are eclectic homeschoolers. We just kind of play it all by ear and use whatever we can get our hands on.

 We are Christian homeschoolers, lots of science and unit studies.  This year we did a couple units in KONOS and a unit in Prairie Primer and loved it!

I'd say we are unschoolers.  Child-led.  it's amazing what my kids want to learn about and do learn about without my input about what they *should* be learning.

Although my son has just spent the better part of four days doing math...LOL

Christian eclectic here; since they're pre-k we run mostly on un-schooling.

I'm with MommaChell. (Although DS is starting 1st grade, so he's a bit older. He does 3rd grade math and 5th grade Reading/LA though) I do want to start slowly introducing structure.
