5th and 6th grade curriculum

Do any of you ladies have any suggestions for 5th and 6th grade curricula?

We have math covered (we use saxon math), but need some assistance with other areas.

We are eclectic and non-Christian if that helps, but we will used a religiously based curriculum if it is good enough.

Right now we are using mostly worksheets and online resources, but I thought I would ask you lovely ladies to see if there is anything you'd recommend.

I immediately looked up Brain Pop and- I have to admit- that I've been hearing about unit studies and lapbooks and I've been going on my assumption of what they were....I finally looked them up!!! So now I'm all over figureing out how to utilize them :) thanks for sharing!

There are lots of free unit studies and lapbooks out there. My favorite websites are : Homeschool Share, and Currclick (click on "Free Stuff").
