Mother's Day...are you asking or expecting?

This Mother's Day I opted to inform my DH of a few things I've been wanting. Last Mother's Day I let him surprise me.

Will you be dropping hints about anything you're wanting, or are you waiting to see what you'll get?

Neither. We don't usually spend a lot for holidays, we make a HUGE deal out of birthdays though. party

I believe it's rightly so; celebrating the people we love and cherish is priceless, and birthdays can be so fun! When else can you embarrass someone publicly with a bunch of waiters/waitresses clapping and singing a silly song and get a free dessert out of it!?! Mother's Day....I think not :)

I don't ask or expect anything for mother's day, never have.  I usually got things the kids make and my husband might or might not get me a card.  The way I feel as long as all are happy, safe and healthy I'm good.

I have an amazon.com wish list. Any time anyone needs gift ideas, they know they can look there.

But no, I am not dropping hints nor expecting anything.
