What's a cherished Mother's Day memory for you or for a mother in your life?
When I was in grade school I saved up to buy my mom a necklace. It was a delicate silver chain with a diamond like rhinestone pendent; cheap stuff, but I thought it was BEAUTIFUL. It took me time and work to save for it and I happened to be able to afford it right before mother's day. I was so excited to give it to her. She made over it quit a bit and I'll always cherish the memory of giving it to her.

My oldest came to me Friday afternoon....he says "mama, we're just drawing so you don't have to check on us."
Well, my first thought is they are doing somehting REALLY BAD...
They had went int eh classrooma nd closed the door so I listened outside, I'm glad I didn't burst in, they were making me Mother's Day cards-all on thier own. It was so sweet.
