Does anyone else HS a child with special needs? My oldest is in the process of being diagnosed with Aspergers, and I often feel like an interpreter - reading his body language, interpreting his behavior; as well as explaining others' words or behaviors on a level he'll understand...most especially this happens with my DH.

My son does not have Autism but he does have ADHD/ODD and possible mood disorder. He is really behind because he had seizures when he was little. Most days I struggle getting him to sit still and do the school work. When my son was tested his motor skills were way behind.

We haven't had a dx, but based on family history and behavior I'm guessing:

DD1:ADHD

DD2: Early onset bipolar disorder

DS: severe speech delay
