Have fun! Just enjoy what your doing.

My one piece of advice would be:

Relax, have fun. You don't need to recreate a mini-public school in your home. Just relax, don't worry, have fun with your kids, they will learn. If something isn't working, throw it out and try something out-don't stress over it!

If they came from public school and transitioning....remember you taught them the first 5 yrs+ of their lives...take time to relax and find your own rythem.

Hard one but the best I can tell you is to be patient.  For a new home schooler - it is a whole new ball game.  Your child is trying to adjust too.
