If you could give new homeschoolers ONE piece of advice, what would it be?

Chill out!

Kids have lots of time ~ they aren't learning if you're stressing them out.

I want to say thankyou to all of you! This is very encouraging to a "just starting" mom!

I, too, am so thankful for this.  We are still debating about starting out this fall.  I think we are going to do, but I am still nervous about it.  I will be homeschooling 2 girls...K and Gr. 1, plus have a 1 year old.  But, I'm excited!!!!

Remember that you are "this homeschooler I know." Please don't make us look like idiots. Thanks. :-)

Each child is unique with personality, learning style, interests and talents.  The M and Ms are fun, not scary...Math and Music!  Reviewing a full year of math is allowed to make the concepts fast and easy...especially if you are thinking of SAT and other tests before college.  Enjoy your special relationships with your children ;o)
