Did any of you pull your child out because they are really gifted? We pulled my DD out because she is really smart. She was in 1st grade and when they tested her reading it was at a 4th grade level. She was getting so bored and getting in trouble. They were giving her 2nd and 3rd grade work in 1st. How do you challange your child?

That is a big reason we didn't send her to school to begin with. DD1 started to read at age 3 and DD at age 4. So Kindergarten would really have been a waste. Around here they concentrate on getting them to read for K-2... they do other things but mostly they try to get everyone reading.
To challange them, I just keep up with them.
