Top 3 homeschooling must haves

Posted by   + Show Post

Around a year ago I did a post on my blog and asked people on forums their top 3 homeschooling must haves. It was very interesting to see the different answers. I think it says a lot about how we each view education differently.

If you could only have 3 things to educate your children for a year, what would they be?

My answers remain the same as a year ago.

  1. Full computer set up (computer, printer, internet, etc)
  2. Library card
  3. Craft supplies (construction paper, glue, crayons, glue, craft sticks, glue, pipe cleaners, glue, etc) LOL

For practical  I have to go with

Library Card

Transportation

Computer

For the indescribable, I have to say patience helps, but above all is just appreciation for being the Mom :)

 1. Computer et.al.

2. basic crafts: paper, crayons, pencils, glue, scissors (but mine are 8and under)

3. library or my books (i have about 300)

*I dont count transportation since we go to therapy, store for other reasons that i turn into education

For the personal requirements 1: PATIENCE 2: Creativity (not using a curriculum) 3: motivation/energy

I think my three would be the same. Library is a must for us! We have so many books on the schedule for this fall, there is no way i could live without it! Lol
Okay, I could but I don't want to. :)
