Pre-k field trips?

I'm looking for ideas and suggestions for places to take my Littles on outings/field-trips. I have a 1yro, 3yro, and 4yro. The zoo is a WIN! They are well behaved for their ages, with the exception of the littlest one, he's wild, lol! I'm in the Dallas Fort-Worth Texas area for all you locals. Thanks in advance, experience is simply priceless!

Children's museum-they are hands on!

Contact local businesses and ask if they would be willing to give your kids a tour for a homeschool field trip. Could be a pizza joint, post office, police or fire station, grocery store, etc. Everyday places can be alearning experience for that age group. While we, as adults,  have a good general idea of how most common businesses work, kids that young often have no idea or some rather amusing ones! At this age it's easy to keep it simple and frugal and still fun and educational!
