S/O brands - what watercolor pencil brand do you prefer?

I have heard you should spring for the good quality watercolor pencils. Any suggestion on brands?

I agree about springing for the better quality ones. We use PrismaColor. They are not the high end ones, but work for us.

 weve used prang, crayola, kimberly and sargents, we liked the kimberly best, they blend better than the others, when you need it the color was brighter, they just seemed more like water colors than the others

How bad is it that I put artist quality water color pencils and paper on her birthday list to family? Hehee

Lol! I hadn't even thought if them until I started reading how nice they are to have when doing nature study in your nature notebook :) I just figured we would use regular old no 2 pencils and sketch, but Julia does love to use color and at least they won't melt when we take them outside. Lol
