For first grade science, I was thinking about getting one of those "life cycle" kits. (Growing your own butterfly, etc) We are planning to be pretty eclectic (HA HA), and I figure something like that would be pretty fun.

Thoughts? Have you done one?

We went to the creek and got frog eggs! Learned the difference in toad and frog eggs...gathered, turned to tadpoles then frogs!

I really need to start thinking about science experiments and activities for all the subjects really. So far all I have is the reading and activities that are planned for me. I want to make this fun!
