My daughter is 5 1/2 and would be starting kindergarten this year but we're homeschooling. My husband wants her to be homeschool but has dropped EVERYTHING on me because I'm the one who stays at home. I really do not have any experience with teaching (he has at least subbed). Now, I think I can teach her but I'm really overwhelmed with all of the website and stuff on homeschooling. We're also really strapped financially and can't really afford a curriculum. So, I could use any suggestions/advice/whatever. I've had a hard time getting much in the way of help from other homeschooling groups because so many seem to prefer to suggest curriculums. I live in WI and know that there really isn't much I'm required to do this year but I don't want her to fall behind either. She picking up a lot on her own but I want to expand that and start getting her ready for next fall when we really have to buckle down with the schooling stuff.
