I am looking for a line up for history and geography. Our geography book is for grades 5 and 6, and our history book is for grades 5 - 8+. Can any one help me?

I am teaching a 5th grader this year. What do you mean by line up? And what books do you have. I'm using even-moore for geography, along with blank maps of the US to go with history. I've got LIFEPAC history & geography for 5th grade (not sure how we like it) and All American History part 1, which is pretty interesting. Just reading Story of the World- Ancients , which I like. We don't do these everyday, split then weekly until we find what we like or finish them.

I do technically have a 5th grader though we have learning disabilities and are a bit behind so we currently are not focusing too much on history and geography... I'm sorry I wish I could be more help.  Good luck :)

We use BJU Press Heritage Studies.  It's got some great information, but my son hates it.  It's very dry.  We may make a change in the near future.

For Geography we use Maps, Globes & Graphs from Steck-Vaughn. They are short lessons but quite comprehensive for hte basics

Science for 5th I use Science in a Nutshell boxes.

History I'm just using the state standard text book and supplementing it with videos from the library.

These are the books I have. So I guess what I will do is pick a spot in the History book and then mathc the geo. book to it and then just work on the north american states and some were during the year add our state history and local history.
