Hi there . I have started combining the girls daily work to make it easier for them and me LOL. What I have been doing is finding printables online that are age appropriate for Jo and then making something simple for Trin. Well this week we will be doing a " How to train your dragon" unit. i got the preschool pack from homeschoolcreations.com but wanted to add to it to make it more challenging and fun for JO. Here are some things I was thinking of adding. What do you think ? So far I have the pre-k pack, then some fun and educational worksheets as well as coloring pages from a coloring book we had. Then I was looking at this site

http://www.history.com/topics/vikings       I am thinking of going over some basic facts with her and maybe letting her watch some videos.

Then there is this site that has some information on it too. http://www.facts-about.org.uk/history-and-events-timeline-vikings.htm    Now Jo is only 5 but loves learning about stuff like this.

http://www.llanbister.powys.sch.uk/Vik6.htm    this site is about Viking homes , I thought that would be fun

I really like this site , I was thinking we could make a viking ship or home and this site has some good information and pictures.

OH here is one that is geared to kids !!!!!!!!! http://home.freeuk.net/elloughton13/vcontent.htm

Then here is some stuff about DRAGONS

WEll that is all that I can find for now. Is that good ? Is there anything else you would add ?

Thank you ladies. I am still trying to figure out all this homeschool stuff and the wordage associated with it all LOL . Deb I do have some writing worksheets and will be making more. She is really into writing her own books right now so I think I am going to start notebooking with her and have her make up and write her own stories for each unit we do .
