We got snow here in Texas today! In Lubbock it didn't stick so no accumulation but Amarillo got a record breaking 2.5 inches.
How about you did you get Snow in October too?

It is freezing here - so we had freezing rain all day....not the first time...but that's the northeast for ya!
They are calling for a Rain/Snow mix on Saturday night/Sunday morning. =( (Virginia)
It won't stick but it is a sign of the winter to come. I am already checking out the Snow Bibs, Boots, Hats and Gloves for the kids.
"Oppression of spirit is not on
the public school curriculum. Rather, it's a noxious by-product produced
while stewing schooling in a pot w/ unions, administrators,
multi-billion dollar budgets, state education departments, and school
boards, then letting politicians control the heat." Linda Dobson
"When you want to teach
children to think, you begin by treating them seriously when they are
little, giving them responsibilities, talking to them candidly,
providing privacy and solitude for them, and making them readers and
thinkers of significant thoughts from the beginning. That's *if* you
want to teach them to think." ~ Bertrand Russell
I fear that this is just the beginning of a bad winter for use here in West Texas.
Haha I would if I could! My Mom was jealous that I got to see snow ( she lives in deep East Texas)
Quoting Diggems0312:
Well those of us in Central Texas are jealous USMOM!! lol we'd kill to have cooler weather. So far all this front brought us was humidity, fog, and mugginess. Send that snow here!!!

No, snow here, yet. It's Ohio, though so we'll get some eventually. We've got some cold rain.
