Do you let your kids carve the pumpkin? I don't, yet but they draw the images that I carve . We even make some on the fly lessons about practical art. There are some fun, school type things you can do with pumpkins.

1. Guess the weight

2. Measuring it

3. Guess how many seed sare in it

4. Use the seeds as math manipulatives this week

Here are some fun pumpkin facts?

welll the only thing we do with a pumpkin is grow it and then  cook it for the freezer or canning jars!hahah and  bake the  seeds,

so the kids learned to grow the pumpkins and break them down!

We carve pumpkins. It's a great way to teach my kids that God takes all of our yuckies out and puts His light in us.
