My name is Patrice and I recently decided to home school my high schooler I had tried some years earlier to home school my daughter who at the time was in the first grade I kept her home for two months before I took her back to school. Sometimes I think I didnt give myself a chance to even try harder. Now my son who is in the ninth grade I have to home school and he wont cooperate with me and it is making discouraged. Please give me some advice as I am very nwew to this thank you. I am also new in posting comments and very slow when it comes to trying to read my messages.
I have a teen but we unschool so all things he dose are things he has decided to do out of his own interest.
Have you given him a chance to deschool or decompress? This is a very helpful thing to do if you want less struggle with the transition to homeschooling.
Have you decided on what type of homeschooling you are going to do?

Maybe a computer school at home would help you and he transition more smoothly?
