Does it snow where you live?

If so, what kind of lessons have you done with snow and your children?

I little but not a whole lot .  We live in VA.(2010 was an exception).  We have studied snowflakes and make paper snowflakes.  We have also used fake snow when studying Chemistry.  (it was a study on physical change versus chemical change)  http://www.stevespanglerscience.com/product/instant-snow

We haven't really done any studies on snow, though we do have the reuseable snow stuff. Here in Ohio, we get a lot of snow but not all at once. 8) Just like a constant inch or two,  it seems.

We get the occasional snow shower but it never stays long. We have looked up information about snow based on the questions the kids asked  about it.
