I am starting to homeschool my two oldest daughters ( third and second grade) after Christmas vacation! Any words of wisdom?

It takes time to get into the routine

Homeschooling rarely looks like "school"

If a curriculum/book etc isn't working, drop it

I have looked at a thousand different curriculum choices and have purchased a few from Abeka and My Father's World. Our libraries here are amazing so I think I'll have an endless resource there. Not to mention all the resources from the internet. I do plan on trying to establish a godd routine before I decide which curriculum I want to stick to. Thank you for the ideas and support!
