Does anyone know about dysgraphia?

Posted by   + Show Post

My youngest daughter has been struggling with writing since she began school. This year I had her tested for dyslexia and the possibility of using the Barton program. Her test results came back that she had dysgraphia. Does anyone else know about this or have suggestion for working with her on writing? Her assignments take her all day if she has to write even just a few sentence. Help!!!

Ok, I'm a bit thrown because this is a homeschooling groups and you guys are talking about 504's and IEP's which I thought were rare amon homeschoolers.

Anyway, my DS also just got diagnosed with Dysgraphia, so I'll also be eager to hear if anyone has any suggestions.  My son's neurologist recomended having the school let DS type his assignments.  I e-mailed his teachers this evening, so I'm waiting for the response in the morning.
