Anyone starting their seeds for a garden in Science yet?

 we are starting some of our seeds, for science class

broccoli, brussel sprouts, cabbage, lettuce(its been growing all year, but we want some different varieties, tomatoes,

nothing in the ground till till about middle of feb, then its carrots, spinach, more lettuce, peas, onions, maybe some potatoes

I was at the store last week and almost picked up our pots and seeds, but decided against it.  I think if we do a garden this year I'll wait at least another month or so before starting, and we also may do starter plants, still undecided though.  I know the kids love taking care of vegetables, and watching them grow.

We will start heirloom tomato seeds soon. We live in mn, so we have to wait until april- may to plant outdoors.

We just had several dozen seed packs delivered and the greenhouse is set up but the only thing planted is parsley, basil, and a few flowers... We can't get things in the ground here until June most years...
