None, we let the interest in a historical event direct us to what to learn.

My 6th grader uses Story of the World, with the activity guide and test booklets, plus the reading list from Sonlight.

My 9th grader uses Winters Promise, along with a reading list from Sonlight.

It's OK. I like their science curriculum better. It just has a lot of reading and writing to it and my son is not a fan of writing. Honestly I'm going to look for something a little different next year. I guess it really depends on your child's learning style and it's just not a great fit for us.

For middle school I used  Kingfisher History Encyclopedia plus a looong list of books that go with different events and time periods that they are reading about.

High school I used  Streams of Civilization I and II  and also have long lists of books for each one :)

I have used these for years now :)
