Wood floors!

What type of wood are you using? Dh likes hardwood (cherry) and I like bamboo.

 we are putting in acacia handscraped bronze blend

yes mem we are doing it ourselves, all i do is open up the boxes the wood comes in and clean up the mess!

dh says we need to do something with the cabinets now cuz it dont match!hahaha good cuz i dont like the cabinets!!

very nice!!  We have wood floors too.  Boys love that they can run and slide on them...lol

Gorgeous! I have always wanted hardwood floors. In my next house I'd love to make that mandatory. Lol!

Do you have any dogs? I have one and I'm afraid he would slide everywhere and scratch them.

I've had dogs in our home and they don't slide or scratch the floor.  Also...You can get plastic nail protectors to go on your dogs nails.  Just a thought :)

Thank you! I've always wondered. But the nail protectors sound like a good thing! My dogs nails are so sharp/jagged after getting them trimmed. He refuses those file ones.

 heres some more weve done and we still arent finished! we dont have a dog, but we have a cat and she loves it, shes running all over the floors and doing flips!hahahahaa
