They want all the homeschoolers to come in for a brain storming session. They want to design a new blended learning option. It is a hybrid learning experience in which students are at a supervised location part of the time and in part through online delivery. The student controls his/her own path and pace of instruction.
Has anyone ever heard of anything like this?
;) just kidding. No I haven't heard of that. Lol
HAHAHAHA I knew it!
Quoting Boobah:
It's a trick. They are herding you all in to brain wash you into coming back to public school.
;) just kidding. No I haven't heard of that. Lol
We have a church in the area that would like to build a private Christian school and have activities integrated with home schoolers. I wouldn't be involved with anything a public tried like you're talking about.
NEVER heard of a public school doing this. But, my kids use to attend a Classically modeled private school. All students were required to attend 2 days of classroom instruction and complete 2 days of home instruction and then had an optional 1/2 day, on Fridays, for electives. It was awesome! Expensive, but awesome.
Yeah, that's what I'm thinking.
Quoting h_minkus:That's interesting. I'd go just to check it out, but I wouldn't put much hope into it.
