any field trips?????
We went to the library for a valentines day party! Dose that count?
We made our weekly trip to the exploreum here. The kiddos are finally old enough to start playing with some of the "big kid" hands on items. Their favorite is the bubble maker. There are five tubes, each containing a liquid of varying viscosity. When you use the pump it sends up either a bunch of small bubbles, some big mixed with little, or in the really thick liquid, two large slow moving bubbles. THEY LOVE that thing LOL.
We have gone to our fire department, to the Zoo, to the Museum of Natural History.
Next week we're going to the Federal Reserve Bank. They will have a tour of the money museum and have a class on savings and spending.
We haven't done one lately.
We go to our Children's Zoo a couple of times per year. She is going to zoo camp there for a day camp (runs from 8-3 for 5 days) in June.
Last summer we went to the Creation Museum. We also went to see the replicas of the Nina and the Pinta. Last spring break, we went to Chicago and went to the aquarium and museums.
We have a Science center for kids in town that we haven't visited for a few years--should do that again.
We went to the Children's Museum in Indy last year.
I'd like to take her to a 1800's village near us this year or next. I'd love to take her to Williamsburg.
We did tour a ship in Chas. SC a few years ago. There is a wonderful aquarium there and also a Ripley's at Myrtle Beach (of course the beach itself is a field trip!).
