Mid Year evaluations

My oldest is in Kindergarten. So mid year what should she have learned by now. She knows basic math. She can read the Scholastic level reader books. She now knows about 50-60 words and can identify them. Shapes, numbers, sequences patterns that kind of thing).

Is there a company that does the evaluations? Where can I go to get her tested to see if she's learning enough?

I live in North Carolina if that helps.

Thank you

I believe that the testing doesn't usually begin until third grade in public school, but it is nice to have some way to recheck subjects. Kind of puts your mind to rest. You  could go over to Rainbow Resource Center and check out this:

They have one for Kindergarten. Or you could get Rebecca Rupp's book Home Learning Year by Year. She gives excellent guidelines for each grade, starting in preschool.

I agree with find a list of standards and checking off. I usually buy a test prep book for my oldest so I can see what will be on the end of year test.
