Besides the obvious, pencils, paper, glue, crayons, scissors, etc., what are some supplies you use frequently that I may be forgetting?  I will have a 2nd grader and a 6th grader.    Thanks!  simple smile

Computer, printer, paper and ink were the main ones for us.

Scissors, pencils, dry erase markers and board, crayons, thin and thick markers, colored pencils, and water colored pencils. Drawing paper (good quality) and water color paper for us. Everyone said lots of glue, so I have 15 bottles and we are still on our first one. Haha! Apparently we don't glue as much as the rest. :)

Laser printer

maginifying glass, jars, balloons, and stuff like that. It's good to have on hand for Science projects.

I second what has already been mentioned. But here are some of my must haves:

Electric pencil sharpener...so nice to have, dry erase board, computer/laptop, highlighters, journals, planners for each kid, wall map, globe ( we have an inflatable one), tracing paper, rubber erasers, sticky notes, stapler, and lots of art supplies.

We use our iPad (I don't have a computer), dry erase board, wall map, globe, lots of erasers (even tho we don't have much written work we go through erasers!), art supplies, science supplies. We mostly do reading, watching, and interacting. Written things aren't for us. I am going to start book reports (written and verbal) and history reports.
