body science... lungs

Here's our last project out of the body basics Nutshell box... it's a model of the lungs and a discussion of how the lungs work.

We used the top 1/3 of a water bottle, 2 medium round balloons and a thick rubber band for our model.

This was one of my kids favorite experiments this year! Great visual.

I gotta say...it was pretty funny watching DS get the bottom balloon and rubberband on!

We really enjoyed this science box and I know there were some doing body unit studies so I hope y'all enjoyed these!
