More OT - My kids modeling some of my recent sewing projects

I guess this is only a little OT, since these little princesses are the reason I am in this group :)  And, Julia actually helped me make the doll sling as part of her sewing lesson!

The bump made it difficult to get the proper fit, but it worked really well and was comfy even with my 30+ pounder, Chelsey!

And my oldest princess - Julia - modeling a doll sling we made for my friend Jessica.

Thanks ladies :) Julia picked out the fabric for the big sling, and the little sling I had fabric left from Easter dresses a couple years ago. They turned out really good!

cool!  How does your back feel after awhile with a 30lb kid in there?

I didn't have her in there for more than 15 minutes, but it was very comfortable.  We did use a different sling that was pretty similar and never had a problem.  I haven't "carried" her for quite a while, so she was probably... 25 pounds last time we went for a while.  If going for a longer trip, I'd go with a woven wrap or a soft side carrier like a Boba/Ergo/Beco
