I just ordered two sheep hearts for the kids to dissect!! We will be finishing up our chapter on the heart next week, so I thought this would be a good way to finish. I remember dissecting sheep heart in biology class and it was sooo neat!!

AWESOME!! post about how it goes. We currently have a box full of 2 fetal pigs, earth worms, perch, crayfish, cow eyeballs, and something else that I can't remember! LOL We will be using them over the next 2 - 3 months.

Some idiot at college last year said that they disect dead people in biology class which freaked me out.  I'm not disecting some  dead person, I'm not going to school to be a mortician (though everyone thinks I should be due to my fascination with bloodshed and carnage/war).  My mom disected a cat in college biology she told me (YUCK).

Pigs are gross, just saying. LOL We watched one done in 8th grade. I didn't mind anything else.
