My DD was in ps, but was removed due to bullying/social problems.

We have done all three routes.  Right now homeschool is best for them.  Down the road...who knows

My oldest was in PS, but we homeschool all the kids. 8)

Kind of a weird question to ask in a homeschool group.

My son and been in ps and hs.  In ps, he had some wonderful teachers and overall it was a good experience until the 3rd grade.  We are homeschooling because of his teacher and his problems adjusting to her teaching style.

3/4 of my children were in a nice top rated public school prior to homeschooling, and although the experience was not a bad one academically they are doing far better being homeschooled then when they were in public school.

I have one friend who's daughter was in private school prior to entering homeschool and and her daughter felt she was being held back in her private school.  After 5 years of being homeschooled she is graduating at 15 from high school and is doing great in her college courses.

To me it all depends on the child and parents.  I know another family who tried homeschooling with their daughter and her parents were unable to teach their daughter the way she learned best.  She has been excelling better in private and public school.

Lol, this was actually my first thought too.  It would be a better question to ask in a general forum where you will have a mix of people who are schooling their children various different ways.

It could bring a pretty big fight here if any non-group members decide to post a comment on it!
