New to cafemom

Hello, Im new to cafemom and really just new to the whole chat group thing. I joined to find moms who also homeschool so i can have people to talk to get idea from. Maybe even meet new friends for our family. A little about me i have two kids girl 9 boy 4 one husband of almost 9 yrs married 11 together. We are both in the homeschool together we try to blanace our weakness. Hope everybody has a fun day!!

 I'm Sonja and I home school 7 kids. (4 girls and 3 boys.) From 16 down to 3.      3 of them are teenagers.    :)

Welcome LeAnnM.  My children are all grown now, but I still tutor and give workshops at home school Conventions.  I also give workshops to teachers at local colleges.  My specialty is reading and phonics.

we have just decided to home school. Both of us will be doing the homeschooling. My husband mainly math and science.  how many days a week do you have the kids sit down in "class" what kinda feild trips do you take. how do you not go crazy with the kids being around 24/7?  what made you decided to home school?
