Do you love biographies for your kids or do you wish you would have left them at the store?

Whose biography is your favorite?

I love biographies! The kids learn not only about the person and what it was like when they were growing up but, about what they did and the difference it has made to our country or to the world. They also learn much about the time in history in which that person lived.

I love them too!  There is so much we can learn from great people of the past.

We are reading Ben and Me, the unauthorized biography of Benjamin Franklin written by the mouse who lived with him.

I love them and more importantly my son loves them.    Many times he will pick biographies when we go to the library on his own.  I like them to go along with the subjects we are studying.
