.... P.E.?

Do you consider all physical activity to to be the same as gym ..aka.. P.E.?

How much do you incorporate physical activity into your teaching? Do you do a seperate "class" for it?

We do a ton for physical education.

Our girls are competitive athletes and we do include their weekly classes, practices, competitions as physical education credits. However, we also put a great deal of focus on nutrition based learning.

We cover anatomy, nutrition, fitness, wellness (body, mind, & spirit) and more. Physical education is very important to us.

both children take karate twice a week.  DS is the one that will be home next year, so DD will also have whatever they teach in elementary gym class in addition to the karate.  DS and I will probably do biking and other activities throughout the week as well
