Do you love preschool work books of any type for your kids?

What did you use during the preschool years?

We had a couple dry erase ones. We really didn't use them much though. Julia didn't start doing much workbook until kindergarten. I keep seeing them and am tempted for my 3 yo, but right now all she would do is draw circles on every page. Haha!

Love them!!! We use pretty much any workbooks that we find and I print off pages and put them in a binder with page protectors so that my girls can use them over and over.

I won't say that I hate workbooks for the preschooler.  I simply do not find them to be the best way a young child learns.  Google "letter of the week" and you can find at least a couple secuar preschool programs for free. http://www.hubardscupboard.com/ offers a free preschool lesson plan. http://www.star/fall.com is also free.

I purchased a Christian unit study called Interlock.  Alpha Omega publishers sell it.  It goes on sale for 20% off in April if you can wait that long.  I loved it for the active learning that had a strong Bible focus with Science and everything else except phonics.  However, there are so many free options that honor the young leaner theses days.  You really do not have to buy more than paint, glue and so forth,

depends on the kid.  If they like then fine.  But if not then don't push.

I personally am not a fan of them.
