Ok so I know in Wisconsin we have to send in the PI-1206 form electronically on or before October 15th, but I'm a little confused about something. First, it says to wait until your child is 6 on or before September 1st. My son will be 6 on September 14th of next year sooooo... does that mean I wait till the following year? Second, we were looking into sending him to a public school nearby for 4k and I applied for open enrollment. Obviously we've changed our minds, but they sent us an approval with registration dates and assigned him a teacher. Does that mean I have to send a letter to them or because I didn't actually register do I just have him not go? I'm so confused! LOL I know I'm just making this harder than it has to be, but I'm super nervous I'm going to screw this up. Any info greatly appreciated.
I believe it's the same as a child that isn't allowed to start grade k because their birthday is 14 days after the cutoff. You can still start educating him, you don't have to wait a whole year.

Thank you. That does seem to be worded better than the site I was looking at.
