I did a writing lesson with my daughter today. Nothing formal just a fun little read aloud. Then had her write about it. She came back with an entire page full of sentences! (now, she does write BIG and isn't a perfect speller- I was just proud)! Because, had this been at school last year, she would have squeezed out *maybe* a sentence. She was always worried about what she wrote from the teacher's prompt and wanted it perfect.
I guess to sum this up...it's just nice to see that learning doesn't have to
stifle creativity & can be relaxed & the homeschooling environment I want to create is just that!
(I do know it's not going to be peachy everyday lol)
