What do you think makes up a good phonics program?
what would you look for in a phonics program?
what would make it not a good program?

Hmmm, it would have to be interactive, not just words/letters on paper. It would also have to build off of frequency, so it couldn't have tons of words the kids would hardly ever use. And it would have to NOT imply certain letters make only. This sound or that sound, since many letters can have various sounds depending on the situation.
You took the word right out of my mouth, Shannon. : )

Interactive is a good word!
I know phonics and such can seem tedious and repetitive sometimes. There has gotta be a good mix of things to keep teacher and child stimulated!
