We're hoping to tighten our schedule a bit more. With the new baby, this past year we didn't lose focus so much as we just did only what was needed. We did lots of educational things and it's great to see what the kids did learn, but we all work better with a tighter ship.
Now that Nikki is a little older, I'm hoping this will be easier.
I'm, also, hoping to tighten up my budget. LOL
I'm really hoping to improve my organization skills and our budget :)
I would like to work on logic and critical thinking skills.
I'm semi organized and I have a feeling this as good as it gets for me. LOL

I think my daughter would do well with some of this, too.

I have this need to have everything written down. I feel like it can't be done if it's not written on paper, usually in a list. We can't keep paper around here because I use so much to make lists. The problem is, those lists are everywhere and very unorganized. I'm thinking maybe I should write a list of how I am going to organize my lists! LOL

We will ne working on tweeking our schedule for better time management.
I am in the same boat as cajunniki90, time management is a weak area for me. I love structure and planning ahead, but my world does not seem to work that way. The kids' activities, friends, family, and co-op seem to be more "fly-by-the seat-of-your pants" kinda people. So many last minute changes and such just drives me CRAZY! And when things change too much my control freak nature just makes me wanna shut down completly.
With the boys, I wanna work on life skills with them: cooking, auto mechanics, budgeting, and maybe some sewing.
I am good school wise. I just follow their interests. The thing I am working the most is me. I started taking karate last summer with my children. I am working on setting some new goals. I am working hard on my splits. I have never done the splits once in my life so it is very hard for me. I have discovered my greatest hindrance is myself. I am reading a book by Chuck Norris called The Secret Power Within to inspire and help me. He has a philosophy in there that I really like.
Set goals, visualize the results of those goals, and then be determined to succeed by overcoming any obstacles in your way.
