was HS, now K12 so Im not a homeschooler anymore?
I did alot of research and decided this year we are going to give K12 a try for my 2nd grader DD. There are alot of reasons and I truly feel this is the right fit for us. My son is still just a registered homeschooler with an IEP and services from the school (ST, OT, ABA, and an ipad). And of course my will be 3yo starting prek stuff.
So speaking to other K12 families and going to register at school yesterday She is no longer considered homeschool? Even though this is the right decision for us at this time, it still bothers me. They say its because she has a teacher checking in every 2 weeks. But I do all the teaching, prepare her for test, all the filler activities are up to me to meet 6hrs but I am only called a learning coach.
OK vent over. Hope you all will still welcome this "home educator public schooler' in the group. <sarcasm>
Oh and as always I am an open book. If anyone is curious why I dont mind to share, just dont want to bog this down anymore.
